Welcome to the Golden Valley Unified School District. We are a growing school district, with amazing schools, serving approximately 2,200 students. 

GVUSD is a relatively young district that has, in a short time, created a reputation for producing students who excel in academics and extracurricular activities.  This has not happened by accident.  The success of Golden Valley Unified has come from our community doing things the Golden Valley Way. 

GVUSD's greatest strength has always been the very supportive relationship between the schools and the community. The positive support from the community allows our students to excel above their peers in other schools, both in the classroom and in many extra-curricular activities. GVUSD is committed to continue this positive relationship for the benefit of our community’s children.

Golden Valley Unified is home to some of the most dedicated and committed employees in the central valley. From the bus drivers, who make first contact with over 30% of our students daily, the custodians and grounds people that provide clean and safe facilities, to the teachers, principals and paraprofessionals that prepare our students for both academic and social success, the district is committed to providing the best possible learning environment for the children of our communities.
