Our work in Golden Valley Unified School District is centered on providing a curriculum-rich education that is driven by real-world and real-life experiences.  Our core values include providing a rigorous curriculum, making learning relevant and developing positive relationships with our students. It is with this in mind that we have developed Golden Valley’s Multicultural Calendar.  We are delighted to share with this page that celebrates diversity and inclusivity within our district.

Each month throughout the school year , we will be embracing and honoring the rich tapestry of ethnic cultures, traditions, and heritage that make up our vibrant community. Our aim is to foster a greater understanding, appreciation, and respect for the diverse backgrounds that enrich our schools and neighborhoods.

We believe that by embracing our ethnic diversity and promoting cultural awareness, we not only create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our community but also empower our students to become global citizens who are equipped to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
