About Our Menus

• Golden Valley Unified School District’s K–12 menus feature a combination of scratch-cooked recipes and carefully selected ready-to-serve student favorites. 
• Meals incorporate USDA Foods and California state-processed foods, whole grain-rich products, lean proteins, and a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. 
• Our Harvest of the Month program, student tastings and ongoing student feedback help introduce seasonal produce and guide future menu development.
