Universal Benefits Application
2026/2027 School Year
The Universal Benefit Application (UBA) helps GVUSD identify students who may qualify for SUN Bucks and other benefits while supporting important state and federal funding for District programs. Although all GVUSD students receive breakfast and lunch at no cost, families are encouraged to complete one UBA per household each school year.
Applications may be completed online at EZ Meal App or by submitting a paper application available at any GVUSD school site.

Only one application is needed per household. Completed paper applications may be returned to any GVUSD school office or mailed to Food Service Department 12220 Road 36, Madera CA 93636

SUN Bucks provides eligible families with grocery benefits during the summer when school is not in session. Completing the UBA may help establish a student’s eligibility when eligibility cannot be determined through another qualifying program.
